2. Your obligations
When using this site you agree to:
- provide accurate, current information in any form you submit, and not impersonate any other person;
- use the site only for lawful purposes and not in any way that could damage, disable or overburden it, including by automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks or attempts to gain unauthorised access;
- not upload or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene or infringing of any third party's rights;
- not reproduce, resell or commercially exploit any part of the site or its content without our written permission;
- be at least 18 years old to make a booking or purchase, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Bookings, workshops and orders
Requests made through the contact form are not binding until we confirm them in writing. Workshop places are confirmed on receipt of payment; the cancellation terms set out in the workshops guide (full refund up to 72 hours before, one free transfer between 72 and 24 hours, non-refundable inside 24 hours) form part of these terms. Private hire requires a 50 per cent deposit which is refundable up to 14 days before the event. Pre-orders and fika boxes require 24 hours' notice and may be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before the collection or delivery time. Prices are shown in Swedish kronor including VAT and may change; the price confirmed in writing at the time of booking is the price you pay. Under Swedish distance-selling law the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods or to services with a fixed date, but we honour the cancellation terms above regardless.
4. Intellectual property
All text, photographs, illustrations, recipes, logos and the Scoutshelfstorypuls name on this site are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by Swedish and international copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright notices intact. Recipes and brew charts handed out in workshops are for personal use; publishing them, in print or online, requires our written permission.
5. Content you send us
By sending a message, review or photograph you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose for which it was sent, and, where you have expressly agreed, to quote it on the site or in the studio. You confirm you own the content or have the right to share it. We may remove any content at our discretion. Personal data in messages is handled under our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party links
The site links to external websites such as public transport planners and map services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.
7. Disclaimers
The guides on this site are provided for general information. Opening hours, prices, menu items and allergen information are accurate at the time of publication but may change without notice; the counter and the staff in the studio are the authoritative source on any given day. Allergen information online is not a substitute for asking staff before you order. The site is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and Consumer Services Act. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of business arising from your use of the site, and our total liability in connection with any booking or order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, refuse a booking or cancel a confirmed booking with a full refund if you breach these terms, behave abusively towards staff or other guests, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. Sections 4, 7, 8, 10 and 11 survive termination.
10. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you live.
11. Disputes
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at [email protected]; most problems are resolved within a few days. If we cannot agree, consumers may refer the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, whose recommendations we undertake to follow. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. Otherwise, disputes shall be settled by the Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date you use the site or make a booking. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for 30 days.
