Bullar Basics
Tuesdays and Saturdays, 2.5 hours, 895 SEK. The class most people book first. You make a full batch of enriched dough from scratch, learn why we prove it slowly and cool, then shape it two ways: the classic cinnamon spiral and the knotted cardamom twist. While the buns bake we cover the differences between Swedish and American-style buns, how to freeze and revive them, and why pearl sugar behaves the way it does. You leave with twelve warm buns, a printed recipe in grams, and a 50 g tin of our freshly ground cardamom. Maximum ten participants; the Saturday session at 17:30 tends to sell out three weeks ahead.
Home Brewing Lab
Wednesdays, 2 hours, 745 SEK. A coffee class for people who own a grinder and a kettle and suspect they are not getting the most out of either. We taste the same coffee brewed five ways, then work through pour-over, French press and kokkaffe at your own station with a scale and timer. You learn to adjust grind, ratio and temperature to fix a cup that tastes sour, bitter or flat. The session ends with a blind cupping of three origins. Included: a 250 g bag of the current filter coffee, a pack of filter papers and a laminated brew chart. Bring your own brewer if you want us to dial it in. Maximum eight participants.
Sju Sorters Kakor
First Sunday of the month, 3 hours, 1,195 SEK. The seven-kinds-of-cookies tradition, in one afternoon. Working in pairs, the group bakes all seven classics: drömmar, finska pinnar, hallongrottor, chokladsnittar, syltkakor, kolakakor and brysselkex. We talk through the history of the 1945 cookbook, the etiquette of the coffee table and how to plan a bake so that seven doughs come out of one oven in the right order. Everyone takes home a full assortment (around 70 cookies) in a tin, plus the recipe booklet. Coffee and a light lunch are served halfway. Maximum eight participants, minimum four.

- Booking. Request a place through the contact form with your preferred date; we confirm within one working day and send a payment link. Places are held for 48 hours pending payment.
- Cancellation by you. Full refund if you cancel 72 hours or more before the start. Between 72 and 24 hours you may move to another date free of charge, once. Inside 24 hours the fee is non-refundable, though you are welcome to send someone in your place.
- Cancellation by us. Classes need four participants to run. If a class is cancelled for low numbers we give at least 48 hours' notice and offer a full refund or a transfer, plus a 100 SEK studio voucher for the inconvenience.
- Age. Participants must be 12 or over; under-16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Gift cards and groups
Workshop gift cards are available for any class or for a fixed amount from 300 SEK. They are valid for 12 months from purchase, can be redeemed against workshops or across the counter, and are posted free within Sweden as a printed card in a linen envelope, or emailed as a PDF.
Private group bookings for 8 to 14 people can be arranged on Monday evenings or Sunday mornings for any of the three classes at a flat rate of 12,900 SEK, which works out cheaper than individual tickets from ten people upwards. Corporate groups often pair a workshop with a private hire of the front room afterwards; ask about combined pricing.
Is a workshop worth it?
For
- Bun technique is hard to learn from a recipe alone; seeing dough at the right stage once fixes it for life.
- The take-home items alone are worth 250–400 SEK at counter prices.
- Groups are small enough that everyone gets hands-on time at the bench and the espresso machine.
Against
- Evening classes finish at 21:00 or later, which is late for a weeknight.
- The Home Brewing Lab assumes you have, or will buy, a burr grinder; it is of limited use with pre-ground coffee.
- Popular dates fill weeks ahead, so spontaneous bookings are rarely possible.
Still deciding? Come to a Saturday sju sorters kakor service first and see whether the cookies convince you.
